Abstract
A child was treated from age 18 months to 8 years with oral methoxsale n and ultraviolet A radiation (PUVA) for refractory psoriasis. Two bas al cell cancers developed before age 21 years, suggesting that exposur e to PUVA in childhood increases the risk of basal cell cancer.
