Abstract
Discrimination against same-sex couples in hotel reservations policies was investigated, Hotels and bed and breakfast establishments (N = 32 0) were sent letters from either a same-sex or opposite-sex couple, re questing weekend reservations for a room with one bed, Same-sex couple s were granted significantly fewer reservations than opposite-sex coup les, suggesting that there was indeed discrimination against same-sex couples.
