Abstract
Linear-scan or differential pulse voltammetry with electrode surface m odified at a mercury drop presweep potential of -1.8 V is used for the determination of nitrate in the presence of trivalent cations. The me thod has been applied to the determination of nitrate in drinking and riverwaters, and in soil extracts with determination limit of 0.3 mu M (20 mu g L(-1)).
