The populations who have dealings with social workers are much more di
versified than previously. Furthermore, they are more aware of their r
ights and have various types of problems. To cope, social workers have
developed new methods and adopted new ways for organizing their work.
These changes have helped thoroughly modify the meaning of social wor
k, which has shifted from a psyche-educational model to the problems o
