Abstract
Two photochemical routes to stoichiometric initiators used in living f ree radical polymerizations are presented. These routes offer the adva ntages of higher yields and allow for the preparation of initiators no t accessible using current methodology. All initiators gave detectable carbon centered radicals (laser flash pbotolysis) and promoted the po lymerization of styrene. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
