Abstract
Reduction of a carbonaceous electrode in LiClO4-ethylene carbonate ele ctrolyte results in the development of a surface layer formed of Li2CO 3 and different lithium alkylcarbonates identified both by electron en ergy loss and FT-IR spectroscopies.
