Abstract
Angular selective coatings are of interest for innovative fenestration . A theoretical framework, based on the Maxwell Garnett and Bruggeman effective medium theories, is put forward. These theories are applied to obliquely sputter deposited films based on Cr, Al, or Ti. A detaile d representation of the optical data can be obtained with regard to in cidence angle, wavelength, and polarization state.
