Abstract
An analysis is made of the original configuration of the 300-kW superc onducting homopolar machine (SHM) and a novel electromagnetic screen s ystem for this machine is presented, Numerical computation is made of the magnetic field of the 300-kW SHM for a ship, The high-Tc supercond ucting magnetic screen is tested with a microtester [1]. All data and the analysis for this magnetic screen system of the superconducting ma chine will be discussed.
