Abstract
An algorithm that can be used to predict a great variety of important properties of mixtures of virgin and recycled polymers is developed in the present work. This algorithm revises a derivation previously publ ished in the literature and generalizes it to take into account proper ties that cannot be determined without a processing operation. Its val idity was tested using data obtained in experiments with mixtures of v irgin polymer and polymer recycled a number of times. (C) 1996 John Wi ley & Sons, Inc.
