Abstract
We report the first synthesis of pure compounds containing the Mn(NO2) (6)(4-) complex, in Cs2BaMn(NO2)(6) and Cs2PbMn(NO2)(6). The magnetic properties of Cs2BaMn(NO2)(6), including substantial frustration, are measured down to 0.02 K.
