Using the adsorption of NH3 and CO2, the hydroxyl coverage of gamma-Al
2O3, hydrated titanium dioxide, polygorskite-montmorillonite clay (PMC
), and the Mo-containing catalysts on their bases, as well as the phas
e compositions of the catalysts with various Mo concentrations, are st
udied. The effect of the ratio of basic and acidic OH groups on the ph
ase composition of the catalysts is discussed.
