Abstract
The driven motion of vortices in the presence of a planar defect is si mulated by means of the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equations. Guid ed motion of the vortices, both internal and external to the twin boun dary, is found to occur over a range of driving forces. Experimental t ransport data on a single crystal of YBa2Cu3O7 are consistent with gui ded motion.
