Abstract
Cu-63,Cu-65 and O-17 NMR measurements have been performed to study mic
roscopic magnetic properties and the electronic state of CuCeO3 which
undergoes the spin-Peierls transition at T-sp similar to 14 K. The Cu2
+ electronic state is discussed within an ionic model in a rhombic cry
stal field, The spin density at the oxygen sites is estimated.
