Abstract
The structure of twist domain walls in a polyethylene crystal is studi ed on the basis of the previously developed numerical model of polyeth ylene crystal. The calculations are performed for a microcrystal under constant pressure at 5 K, The domain wall is shown to have an elongat ed shape and a complex internal structure. The energy stored in the do main wall amounts to about 17 kJ/mol per molecule.
