Abstract
Roommate satisfaction and ethnic pride were assessed in 101 same-race and mixed-race randomly assigned roommate pairs at the University of G eorgia. African American roommate pairs indicated significantly greate r roommate satisfaction than did African American-White pairs. African American roommate pairs also had the highest ethnic pride score. Impl ications for practice and further research directions are discussed.
