Abstract
Continuing education programmes in information technology were seen as important by a majority of library and information science educators in anglophone Africa. This conclusion is based on a survey of 60 educa tors in 25 schools from nine countries. Other areas of substantial int erest include management, curriculum development and teaching methods, and rural librarianship. (C) 1996 Academic Press Limited
