Abstract
The currently available and accurate diagnostic tests for paratubercul osis are reviewed. Technical issues concerning test performance are br iefly mentioned and the advantages, disadvantages, and comparative acc uracy are described. The article concludes with recommendations on whi ch tests to use in eight different situations requiring laboratory dia gnostics for paratuberculosis.
