Abstract
A patient with POEMS-syndrome showed polyradiculopathy angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia, optic disc oedema, gynaecomastia and gonadal deficiency, IgA-lambda light-chain, hyperpigmentation of the skin asso ciated with osteosclerotic myeloma of the left femur and 5th and 8th d orsal vertebra. Immunohistology study of the sural nerve revealed smal l depots of IgA in the endoneurium. After locale radiation of the bone plasmacytomas there was mild improvement in the neuropathy.
