Abstract
We report the fine structure and magneto-optical properties of Au/Co m ultilayers epitaxially grown on MoS2 substrates at different temperatu res and under ultra high-vacuum conditions. The morphology and structu ral details of the different layers are studied by cross-sectional and plan-view transmission electron microscopy. Despite the presence of s ome interface roughness, strong perpendicular anisotropy is clearly ob served for 0.8 nm thick Co layer.
