Abstract
An iron(II) porphyrin 1-methylimidazole (mim) complex covalently encap sulated within a large aryl ether dendritic cage, Fe-II(mim)(2)L(5), d isplays reversible dioxygen-binding activity, in which the dioxygen ad duct survives over a period of months even in the presence of water, a nd exhibits a half-life of 50 h upon exposure to carbon monoxide.
