Abstract
The mean of the distribution of diagonal transition matrix elements an d the variance of distributions of non-diagonal transition matrix elem ents are studied for quantum systems with a mixed phase-space. The con tributions to both quantities from the ergodic and regular parts of ph ase-space are identified.
