Abstract
A retrospective analysis of 100 caronal sinus CT scans was performed t o investigate the frequency of opacity of the nasolacrimal duct and de termine if there was any correlation between the pattern of duct opaci ty and the presence of inflammatory sinus disease. The study showed th at the nasolacrimal ducts are opaque in the majority of normal people and that there is no relationship to inflammatory sinus disease.
