Abstract
Densities for mixtures containing sunflower seed oil with pentane, hex ane, heptane, and octane have been determined at various temperatures between 298.15 K and 313.15 K using a vibrating tube densimeter. The d erived excess volumes have been correlated by the Redlich-Kister equat ion. All the systems showed negative deviations from ideality. The exc ess volumes increased with an increase in temperature.
