Abstract
Multiple rice body formation is an unusual complication of chronic bur sitis. Clinically and macroscopically, it can resemble synovial osteoc hondromatosis. Radiographic and MR appearances, however, may allow an accurate pre-operative diagnosis. The imaging features of two middle-a ged women with multiple subacromial/subdeltoid bursa rice bodies are d escribed.
