I. Pocsik et al., TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF H-1-NMR RELAXATION IN HYDROGENATED AMORPHOUS-CARBON SAMPLE SERIES, Journal of non-crystalline solids, 200, 1996, pp. 632-635
A two-exponential spin-lattice (T-1) relaxation process of hydrogen nu
clear magnetization was found in a series of hydrogenated amorphous ca
rbon samples prepared under different self-bias conditions from benzen
e. The temperature dependence of these relaxation times reveals the di
fferent dynamic background of the two sub-systems. Low activation ener
gies (depending on self-bias voltages) were measured for the longer re
laxation time components; temperature independence was detected for th
e shorter relaxation time components.
