The relativistic motion of an electron in a homogeneous constant magne
tic field and a transverse circularly polarized electric field is redu
ced to a one-dimensional time-dependent integrable problem by using th
e Hamiltonian formalism. The trajectories and the dynamics of the part
icle are studied. A simple approximate expression for the maximum ener
gy is given.
