Abstract
Two ancyrocephalid monogeneans collected in Cameroon are described: En terogyrus crassus n. sp. from the stomach of Tilapia nyongana and E. a mieti n. sp: from the stomach of Sarotherodon galilaeus sanagaensis. T he simultaneous occurrence of E. cichlidarum Paperna, 1963 in the stom ach of these two host species is also reported. The specificity of the two new species is discussed along with the value of haptor morpholog y (cupped or tongue-shaped) as a specific character in the taxonomy of the genus Enterogyrus.
