The experimental data obtained on the liquid scintillation detector LS
D are analyzed for the purpose of searching for the solar electron ant
ineutrino flux predicted in the model of spin-flavor precession of the
neutrino. The currently most accurate upper limit on the solar <(v)ov
er bar (e)>/v(e) flux ratio is established: Phi((v) over bar)/Phi(v) l
ess than or equal to 1.7% (90% confidence range). (C) 1996 American In
