As. Timeryanov, GENETIC-VARIABILITY IN LARCH LARIX SUKACZ EWII DUL IN THE SOUTHERN URALS - SPATIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF THE POPULATION, Genetika, 32(5), 1996, pp. 663-667
Spatial distribution of larch Larix sukaczewii in the southern Urals w
as studied by 17 isozyme loci controlling ten isozyme systems. Two hun
dred plants from four populations were analyzed. 97% of total genetic
diversity was determined by variability within populations and 3% by v
ariability between populations. Nei's and Gregorius' genetic distances
were 0.010+/-0.003 and 0.070+/-0.002, respectively. Genetic distances
did not correlate with geographical distances between populations. Th
e obtained estimates of interpopulation differentiation were lower tha
n those found for other larch species.
