Abstract
Polyfluoroalkyl-containing aziridinyl ketones, unlike their nonfluorin ated analogs, react with hydrogen halides to give only alpha-halo-beta -aminoketones or their hydrogen halide salts. Thermal decomposition of the latter in the case where Hal = Cl affords alpha-chlorovinyl keton es.
