Errorless compliance training (e.g., Ducharme & Popynick, 1993; Duchar
me, Pontes et al., 1994) is a recently evaluated, nonintrusive approac
h to teaching children to cooperate with the requests of their parents
. In this article, I describe the errorless approach and discuss the p
otential benefits of this technique. A detailed description of procedu
res that can be used to enhance clinical effectiveness and efficiency
under various conditions and with a broad range of clinical population
s is also provided.
