Abstract
High resolution infrared spectra of the nu(5) and nu(10) bands of C2F6 in a supersonic jet have been measured using a diode laser spectromet er. The well resolved vibration-rotation lines of these two bands were obtained. The spectra were analyzed using a standard Hamiltonian for a prolate symmetric rotor, and the precise band centers and molecular constants of this molecule have been determined.
