Experimentally, Raman continuum for A(g) and B-g geometry exhibits pea
ks far apart from each other (about 80-150 cm(-1)) in frequency. The f
ormer is insensitive to doping over a small range where T-c does not v
ary much whereas the latter shifts towards higher frequencies. We calc
ulate the electronic Raman scattering intensities using the 'modified
spin bag model'. We show that the calculated results have natural expl
anation to the observed anomalous peak separation and peculiar doping
dependence.
