Abstract
The uniform asymptotic form of the far field of a linear gravitational internal wave source which moves uniformly and rectilinearly along th e horizontal in an homogeneous, horizontally exponentially stratified medium is constructed. The expression obtained enable one to find this asymptotic form for any mutual arrangement of the source and the obse rvation point. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
