Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of various poly(pyrrole)s derived f rom (1H-pyrrol-3-yl)acetic acid are described. The stability and the c onductivity of polymers from ester derivatives of (1H-pyrrol-3-yl)acet ic acid with linear or branched alkyl chains, ether or thioether funct ions and polyfluorinated chains are evaluated. The electroactivity of these new conducting materials has been determined in both aqueous and organic media by cyclic voltammetry. Some of these polymers show iono selective or enantioselective properties.
