Abstract
The microstructural study of the La1/3Sr2/3FeO3-y system by electron d iffraction and microscopy shows that for the y = 0.1 composition, La a nd Sr are ordered in small domains preserving the 1:2 ratio and follow ing a sinusoidal modulation. This ordered state disappears when no oxy gen vacancies are present (y = 0), the material presenting a small rho mbohedral distortion. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
