An orthopteran wing fragment from the Upper Jurassic (Tithonian) of Ne
w Zealand is described as Notohagla mauii n. gen, et sp. and placed ne
ar species from the Jurassic-Cretaceous of Central Asia. Closely assoc
iated stratigraphically is a moulted abdomen of an urdid isopod Urda z
elandica n. sp., similar to a Lower Cretaceous form from the Antarctic
Peninsula.
