Abstract
The structure of the tripeptide hemiasterlin methyl ester, C31H48N4O4, has been determined by X-ray analysis, The absolute configuration is based on the chiralities determined by other methods for two of the th ree chiral centers, Weak hydrogen bonding influences the solid-state c onformation.
