The Sn2P2Se6 single nanocrystallites embedded in a photopolymeric olig
oetheracrylate host were manufactured, Structural and electrooptical i
nvestigations unambiguously show a possibility to obtain specimens whi
ch have properties similar to the properties of bulk single crystals.
it was revealed that UV-hardening of the liquid photocompositions at t
emperatures allowing an incommensurate phase existence leads to an inc
rease of the electrooptical coefficients, External electric field indu
ces a partial crystallographic ordering of the embedded single crystal
lites of Sn2P2Se6. After applying the electric fields of intensity hig
her than 16 kV/cm a saturation of the crystallographic ordering degree
parameters as well as the electrooptical coefficients was observed. A
temperature hysteresis of the electrooptical coefficient was also fou
nd.
