Abstract
The dominant mode of the rectangular-groove guide has been analyzed by using the method of lines. The field distribution current distributio n, and power density distribution have been calculated and presented. Comparison with the attenuation figures bt the literature [1] shows th at the present method is efficient and promising. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
