Abstract
An alternative hybrid method is presented for an evaluation of EM scat tering by two-dimensional (2D) large bodies with cracks and gaps. The hybrid method employs the high-frequency techniques, the method-of-mom ents (MM), and the equivalence principle. Numerical results demonstrat e the accuracy of the hybrid method.
