Abstract
A global shape from shading algorithm which develops a technique to me rge local shape from shading results obtained around singular points i nto the complete shape using the mountaineers theorem was recently pre sented in Kimmel and Bruckstein (1995). In this comment, we enhance th is result by proving the completeness and uniqueness obtained by the g lobal shape from shading algorithm. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
