Abstract
A VLSI self-triggered readout chip, dedicated to high resolution beta ray imaging, as used in biology, is described. In the present 32 chann els prototype version an ENC noise of 110 e(-) + 20 e(-)/pF has been o btained, with a power consumption of 2.5 mW/channel.
