Abstract
A numerical algorithm based on a special choice of the basis functions in the form of splines is proposed for solving the Smolouchovsky syst em of coagulation equations describing the kinetics of aerosol formati on. The transformation of the particle size distribution as a function of time and the dependence of the dynamics of the monomer generation are studied. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
