Abstract
Frequencies of two external-cavity diode lasers were locked to Doppler -free resonances on the caesium D-2 line using the Zeeman modulation t echnique. In this technique the laser frequency is unmodulated. The Al lan variance of beat note between two identical lasers was measured, F requency stabilities of better than 10(-12) were observed for averagin g times from 10 to 300s.
