Abstract
Addition of 2-lithio-2-methylpropionitrile to three new complexes of c ationic (eta(6)-toluene-Mn) complexes where one or two CO ligands have been substituted by phosphine or phosphite, leads to the correspondin g (eta(5)-cyclohexadienyl) complexes with a very high regioselectivity in the case of the complex where two CO have been replaced by two pho sphite ligands.
