The creep behaviour of two Al-Alloys manufactured by mechanical alloyi
ng is investigated in this work. Both alloys were strengthened through
the addition of different volume fractions of aluminiumoxides and -ca
rbides and tested at temperatures between 300 degrees C and 500 degree
s C under several creep stresses. The forge differences in the values
of creep rupture strength and creep ductility found at each test tempe
rature are due to the differences in the dispersoid volume fraction.
