Abstract
A new technique for fixation of tibiotarsusfractures in birds with a b ody weight between 100 g and 1.000 g is described. In 14 birds out of the orders psittaciformes, falconiformes and columbiformes fracture he aling could be achieved within 2 to 6 weeks using this method.
