Abstract
A series of indium derivatives of N-alkyl-3-mercaptoacatamides having general formula [RNHC(O)CN2S]In-3 (where R=C2H5 n-C3H7, i-C3H7, n-C4H9 , i-C4H9, sec-C4H9) have been synthesised and characterized by element al analyses, molecular weight measurements and spectral (IR, H-1 and C -13 NMR) Studies. The complexes appear to exist in two isomeric forms in solution and the plausible structures for both the isomers have bee n proposed.
