Abstract
Kossel diagram images of liquid crystal blue phases reveal previously unobserved features, some previously predicted by Belyakov et al., ass ociated with many-wave diffraction. The features consist of gaps in th e Kossel lines and concentric interference fringes. A theory is presen ted predicting all the observed features. The modeled results are foun d to be in contradiction with the double twist model of BPII.
